Go scooter go!
He's not quite 5 months old, but he's already on the move. Cass is especially fond of dashing for his branch, bird or wooden rattle. He giggles and sometimes screeches with excitement as he thrusts his body across the room. Fierce. Determined. Good spirited.

Boo!
Cass gets spooked by the window at the Bowne & Co., Stationer. We started our day at a Halloween party at a carriage house in Dumbo and had a great walk home over the Brooklyn Bridge. Cass went as an egg in a bird nest. It was a perfectly gray day.

like father like son and so on
I'm amazed by how much Dan looks the same now as he did as a bambino. Lovely. And how loved. He is being massaged in one pic and held by his grandfather (father's father, Baddadaddy) in the other.
Delightful
Whenever we take Cass to a museum, the lights seem to capture his attention most. So, we took a day trip to the Dan Flavin Institute in Bridgehampton to woo him with the lights before catching some fresh ocean air.
